R.I.P Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs, co-founder, chairman of the board, former CEO of Apple and industry icon for decades,passed away on October 5,2011.

Apple released this statement:

We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today.

Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.

Mouse Without Borders, much like the real world counterparts, doesn’t care about your screen’s boundaries. It doesn’t care where one OS stops and another starts. Google’s at it again with a new programming language, this one called Dart.

In 2009, Google launched Go, a language designed for writing server software and handling other chores often handled today by C or C++. Google Wallet: First Impressions

Google officially rolled out its Google Wallet mobile payment system on Monday. We’ve been using a Sprint Nexus S 4G with Google Wallet for the last six weeks. Google Wallet is still in its infancy, but the system already shows a lot of promise.

Right now, Google Wallet only works with Citi-Mastercards and the Google Prepaid Card. Visa and Google announced a worldwide agreement to support the Visa payWave app, but it will still be up to the financial institutions and banks to add support. (more…)

Facebook to Launch “Major” Profile Redesign at f8

Facebook plans to roll out a major redesign of user profiles at its f8 developer conference this week.

Details about the redesign are sparse, but two sources familiar with Facebook’s plans (who have asked to remain anonymous) have told us that the redesign is “major” and will make Facebook profiles nexuses for consuming content.
